Pluto in Aquarius All Signs: A New Chapter Has Began

Why is everyone talking about Pluto going into Aquarius? How can we make the best of this major shift? We’re going to let you in on the secrets that this momentous occasion holds for each one of the zodiac signs. If you prefer to watch it:

Pluto is notorious in the world of astrology, often associated with difficult topics of death, destruction and trauma. We’re here to dispel the myths that Pluto can only bring trauma and destruction in its wake and give you a clearer idea on what this transition will mean for you.

Generally Pluto in Capricorn has been breaking down old institutions, traditions and undermining societal limitations for good and ill. This has come with some harsh repercussions in standard of living and more awareness has been brought up around the loss of traditional values that have underpinned our societies for generations. This has been a steady process but very emphasised in the last few decades. Of course this also grants the opportunity to introduce new values but at the cost of instability.

Loss of values means nearing ourselves to new values: Consumerism (at least of Gen Z) is completely different and more mindful then those of previous generations, people are more open to discussing mental health issues – even if only because mental health might be the worst it has been in generations , there is at least in the younger generations the acceptance that success is personal and does not equal a house, a job, 3 kids and a car; women objectification is at least discussed and alternative sexualities are tolerated in at least parts of the world.

Ineffectual systems of government have come under increased scrutiny coupled with its expressions of force and repression even in self-proclaimed liberal societies. Capricorn, as ruled by Saturn, defines the limits within our lives and these limits have been put into question and now look very different to when Pluto initially entered Capricorn in 2008. This coincided with the financial collapse which began in 2007 and climaxed in September 2008 with bankruptcy of financial institutions. This brought decades of harsh economic measures, poverty and austerity. The very bones of humanity have been shaken and very serious questions regarding its stability have surfaced. (Covid; Ukraine in Europe and Israel as the last Capricorn straws – start with a crisis, end with a crisis?)

Many people have been crying for change and it has been the banner under which many prolific political figures have flourished. This may be the foreshadowing for what is promised with Pluto’s movement into Aquarius and gives hope that the breaking down of old structures can give room for new concepts and systems to establish themselves that better serve the needs of modern society.

Most of this is driven by the ever intensifying influence of technology and the internet in our lives. We saw smartphones taking off in 2007-2008 with Pluto’s entrance in Capricorn and Bitcoin became a challenge to the traditional monetary systems of the world around the same time. Pluto’s power and energy in Aquarius will likely further stimulate that,  resulting in the adoption of digital currencies on a wider scale.

Technological advance was also indicated by Pluto’s first dip into Aquarius in March 2023, coinciding with AI’s entry into the public domain with its popularity skyrocketing during the year of Pluto’s first ingress. It will likely go to the extremes where we start to have to ask ourselves how far we really want to go with technological advancement and be cognizant of the forever present risks and dangers of centralised power structures to misuse these.

Close-up of a hand holding a charging cable against a textured brick wall background.

For the first time, realities as described in Ready Player One  by Ernest Cline (escaping completely in a virtual reality)actually seem possible. We see movies on the worst case scenarios: CTRL, where an AI takes control of your life and makes you “happy”, it decides what and where you buy etc. Power centred on who has the proprietary rights on the AI.  There are quite a few books on AI controlled worlds – they all seem dangerously close now (not sure if that all fits the serious tone that you have started, but I think it might be somewhat relevant  (books are our fears and dreams))

Becoming ever more acutely aware over the preceding decades of the decline in community and a sense of belonging, there will be a striving towards reconstituting this into our lives. Different people will strive to do this by different means, whether in local communities, or absorbed into virtual communities. But we can expect virtual communities to change majorly, as research shows that Loneliness is positively associated with longer screen time and social media app use. But frequently picking up one’s phone and using communication apps are negatively associated with loneliness. (Acta Psychologica Volume 221, November 2021) So if we are looking towards a sense of belonging or community, we will probably also see major changes in how social media works, turning it into a more intimate, community fostering platforms instead of the self-imposing way of communicating  which is still quite prevalent, but youtube has already announced that it plans new community features )

The last time we saw Pluto in Aquarius was between 1778 to 1798 – the time of various revolutionary wars such as those in France and America, along with the Industrial revolution and the Enlightenment era. This confirms a sense of time where uprisings may occur along with significant technological development and a philosophical shift towards Enlightenment values of reason, logic and scientific fact.

This fixed nature of the sign Aquarius could lead to dogmatic ideologies, or scientific endeavour aimed at the benefit of all man. However, a purely statistical, technological approach may lead to as many problems as it does to solutions.

During these decades we will do well to remember the limitations of the intellect to provide for a rich, meaningful life and not forget the avenues of spirituality, creativity, compassion and the paramount importance of real human interaction, away from the technologies that we should be learning to manage with restraint, care and wisdom. Technocracy might be the best word for summing up the potential direction that societies may go with the move of Pluto into Aquarius, for better or for worse. Change is inevitable but we have the best hope for that going in a positive direction if we can see clearly the potential pitfalls in the road ahead.

Remember that we have perhaps already seen a glimpse of some of the themes in our lives that will be activated. Pluto briefly entered Aquarius at the end of March 2023, staying there until June. It reentered at the end of January 2024 and remained there until September 2024. Those time periods might give some indication of themes that will come up for this period of life. Bear in mind if you have planets in the house that Pluto is transiting, when it conjuncts these points you will have more noticeable effects and it could be manifesting the key specific events that highlight the themes of Pluto’s process there.

Aries Ascendant: New Hope

Pluto enters your 11th house on the 20th of November which relates to your hopes and dreams for the future, friendships, communities and organisations. There is also the potential for it to impact older siblings.

It is a time where a significant change to your ideas and visions you have for your future. Some very important ones might happen and bring important lessons with them. Or you might decide on a new path.

Pluto might be asking you to change how you relate to friends, leaving some behind or having new friendships come into your life. This might be related to a more overarching theme of how you give and receive love.

In a broader context it might mean developing relationships to certain groups, organisations or communities that bring significant change to your life.

The 11th also relates to money – showing income from jobs, from the state, side hustles and sudden windfalls. It could be a time where you develop some ways to get a side income or receive or stop receiving money from the state.  Your salary might increase or decrease majorly due to some reason. A few lucky ones, which have sudden money windfalls indicated in their chart might receive them at that time.

Pluto also affects your 8th, 5th and 2nd WS houses. This will be much more noticeable if you have planets in Scorpio, Leo or Taurus.

You could also have children, romances, hobbies and pleasurable activities impacted with endings, new beginnings and general changes in the dynamics and people related to this area of life. There could be a significant change in accessing your creative potentials generally too.

If aspecting planets in the 8th it might bring inheritances and potential topics of taxes, debts and shared resources might come up when Pluto aspects a planet placed here.  At the same time it might wake up old fears related to financial problems, remember to review them calmly and look at them differently.

Finally the 2nd WS house being aspected would further allude to changes in financial circumstances. This could be significant losses or gains or just changing how you relate to your finances. Pluto may also be confronting you with issues related to your self worth and a deeper understanding of how it might play out is possible in a personalised reading. But with all the action in the money houses your view on money is going to be challenged. Whatever experiences you go through in this area of life, remember your worth is not connected to possessions.

Taurus Ascendant: A Ladder Up or Down?

Pluto enters into your 10th house Taureans. This can bring significant changes in your professional life, your status in society and affect the mother.

You may have to confront some power struggles with bosses and superiors and may contribute to a change in job or even career which this transit suggests. This could also be a cathartic process that brings new found energy and inspiration for your career. It could be the birth of something in the decades to come. When Pluto touches the MC – major career milestones are possible. But so are major endings and beginnings.

Alternatively, you may have to deal with the government or authorities and this could lead you to cultivate greater awareness of how you relate with these figures in your life generally. A change in status could mean many things – marriage, becoming a parent or losing someone through death or divorce. These all change the way society sees you and affect your status.

The opposition to placements in Leo (the 4th) could bring issues of family into focus. Your work-home life balance may be brought to attention, asking you to understand the deeper drives and processes that could be creating an imbalance here. It could just mean a move to a new home, possibly stimulated by job opportunities.

Pluto also squares the 1st and 7th house. This will be much more noticeable if you have planets in Scorpio or Taurus.

If Pluto goes on to aspect a planet in your 1st house it is likely going to be felt strongly. The career changes that you might go through, or the relationship to bosses can provoke a significant changes in your appearance, personality.  You might need to change your image in accordance with your career. Your work life might affect how you perceive yourself. Your experiences with powerful people, authorities could change the way you understand yourself, your primary motivation in life and your skills and talents.

Aspecting the 7th could bring significant changes for your partnership – issues may arise from how they relate to your professional life. The aspect can herald marriages or divorces. However at the core is a review of the power dynamics between you and others, a good chance to review these and consider what needs to end, what new can begin here or how you can rebuild existing relationships in a healthier way. You might need to make some adjustments to balance career and partnership.

Gemini Ascendant: New Perspective

Pluto enters your 9th house Gemini. These coming decades will bring changes to your perspective on life. This could bring a deeper sense of meaning to what you are doing here (on earth) and connect you to topics of religion and faith. Changes here could see a shift from one religion to another or a discovery and development of the spiritual side to life. You could even begin to work more profoundly with other systems that facilitate a relationship to the divine, such as astrology, tarot and other practices.

Another catalyst for this process could be travel, a common expression of this house, stimulating a desire to explore further flung corners of the world, or the cultures that originate from there. Everything that pushes you out of your comfort zone and opens you to different ways of seeing the world is a form of travel – use those possibilities.

Beginning or furthering your studies could also be on the cards as a desire for expanding your horizons takes shape over the coming years. The 9th house also deals with publications and bringing things to the wider world. It could be a time where you feel motivated to share your inspirations through writing, videos or simply establishing an online presence. Understand that challenges that come at this time are there to stimulate a profound shift in the big picture of your life.

If Pluto aspects something in Leo, it will impact your 3rd house. This could stimulate the desire to write or encourage the use of the mind towards creating and learning. It could also bring changes to your local environment, neighbourhood and neighbours. Or your views on those change due to travel or learning experiences.

Siblings can also be affected along with other relatives. The friends you call brothers or sisters can also be going through significant changes when the aspect perfects. You might feel called to connect to earth-based spiritual practices, supporting the process of you deriving a new sense of meaning in your life.

When Pluto aspects planets in Scorpio (your 6th) you could find topics of health, employees, pets are impacted. There could be challenges, losses or new dynamics beginning in these areas especially coming through travel, experiences of foreign cultures. The 6th can also indicate work that we do to survive and perhaps this isn’t aligned with your changing perspectives on life and will need to be reassessed as to whether some job is still relevant to continue doing. Generally the way you handle the daily routines of life could see some alterations.

If Pluto aspects 12th house planets this could emphasise the spiritual implications of its transit through the 9th house. It could bring themes of isolation and retreat from the world, whether that is self-imposed or otherwise. The 12th house is associated with hospitals and monasteries, anything that removes us from normal daily life. It is a house of sacrifice and you might be confronted with having to let go of things and behaviours that are contrary to your overall well-being.

An aspect here could be a confrontation with lessons regarding the many dimensions of life that we have no control over, letting go and flowing with what comes, maintaining our faith in the process of life’s unfolding. It could also potentially stimulate psychic or other paranormal experiences, reawakening gifts of perception of the subtler dimensions of reality. It could be challenging to integrate these things so it’s not a bad idea to have someone around who can guide you through these experiences if they should arise.

Cancer Ascendant: Catharsis

Cancer rising, Pluto will be moving into your 8th house of shared resources, taxes, debt, inheritances, fears and cathartic processes initiated by grief or other unpleasantries. It sounds bad but don’t worry, the processes and dynamics that Pluto can liberate you from, though at times difficult, give access to deeper wisdom, maturity and a stable sense of self. It is an opportunity to be reborn.

On the more mundane level you could just see issues around shared resources coming up to reassess the power balance within certain relationships. You might have to be more astute with your taxes and avoid any indiscrepancies here to minimise risks of problems.

There is the possibility that you come into some inheritance during these decades and this invariably brings up the potential experience of grief associated with it but this is only one possible expression of many.

Pluto can ask us to face our fears and confront areas of life where we have stagnated. Here it can bring the catharsis we need to truly move on from difficult dynamics we have experienced and psychotherapy work may be particularly effective during this time.

This is further emphasised by its aspect to your 2nd WS house. For you, money and personal belongings are signified by planets in Leo could bring notable changes here. This could mean, as mentioned before, notable gains or losses. It could indicate that how you relate to your material possessions changes, bringing the desire to let go of a lot of that physical clutter in your life.

The 2nd house is also connected to self-worth which is likely to be impacted. Cathartic experiences may come that help you re-evaluate your own value and help you to establish a deeper appreciation for yourself in the long-term. As all your financial houses are potentially triggered, it is a good time to separate possessions and self-worth.

Pluto also affects your 5th and 11th houses. This will be much more noticeable if you have planets in Scorpio or Taurus respectively.

Aspecting 5th house planets, Pluto might bring the topic of children to the fore. If you have your own, you could be dealing with processes that bring significant changes to them. Or if you don’t it may be a time where they do come into your life. If you have any fears around the topic of children, they will be triggered and brought up for review. It is also a house of pleasure and romance, so it could mean that these kinds of relationships become an arena where we confront the deeper-seated issues coming to light.

There could be new hobbies or discovery of activities that bring changes to your life. Take care with financial speculation and gambling at this time as Pluto’s tendency toward obsession could be problematic, it could also indicate big losses here, or big gains. It is advisable to not make any risky moves though.

If it aspects 11th house planets this could affect your friendships. Take care that debts or shared resources here don’t lead to conflicts and deal with them in a timely manner. It could just mean certain relationships here leave your life while other new ones begin. As another financial house it relates to income whether from a job or the state. Changes here could be contributing to the effect that Pluto is having on the 8th house topics we discussed earlier.

The 11th house also relates to communities and organisations, which may become more prominent in your life. Finally, it is about hopes and dreams for the future. You could see a new vision for your future forming as you go through the experiences which Pluto brings you. This highlights the fact that though some of the topics of the 8th house are difficult, these decades will be potentially preparing the ground for a new vision for your life.

Leo Ascendant: Relationship Growth

Leos you have Pluto moving into your 7th WS house. This brings great changes to your relationships, your experience of the ‘other’ in your life. Whether that is a significant other, your business partners or competitors, Pluto will be working to redefine how you engage and interact. There is a likelihood of coming to terms with power dynamics that exist between you and others and having to face realities that might have remained hidden until now.

On a positive note it can bring you into contact with powerful people and be the harbinger of changes in relationship status, so this could mean marriage. The connections you make in the next decades may be formative in establishing yourself in the world and becoming recognised. Be careful to avoid some of Pluto’s darker manifestations as it also rules the criminal underworld, so for a few of you it might be wise to assess carefully who you are mixing with.

If you have planets in Leo (your 1st), Pluto’s aspect will strengthen the impact relationships have on your sense of self. This may bring significant changes to how you place yourself in the world and even your appearance. Perhaps inspired by others, you have the chance to recreate your persona in the world to better reflect who you feel to be. This could catalyse the unearthing of some hidden talents or skills that you haven’t yet been able to access.

Aspecting placements in the 4th (Scorpio) means questions around where to call home may come up. Generally, aspects to planets here mean changes to your living situation are likely – this could be relocation or even a renovation project. Issues may surface related to your father, or family in general, which impact how you engage in relationships. There might be the inclination to dig into the past or get interested more into your ancestry or heritage.

Pluto will also aspect planets in Taurus, your 10th WS house. Here we might see significant changes in your career, especially ones triggered by partnerships; challenges that come to redefine your action in the world and your reputation. It could be indicative of changes in how society views you – this could be marriages, becoming a parent – anything that gives you a new ‘title’ by which the world defines you.

For a few of you there might be significant events for your mother if Pluto aspects a planet here. If prominent people come into your life and you have planets in Taurus, they could be greatly influencing your career, for better or worse. You may be encouraged to better understand the power dynamics between you and authority figures, whether it be your boss or the government. Overall Pluto’s power can greatly stimulate this area of your life if you can face the more difficult sides to this planetary energy.

Virgo Ascendant: Be Mindful

Virgos you have Pluto moving into your 6th WS house. This is a house that we connect with stress, sickness, the difficulties of day to day life. It is also the house of your employees or pets if you have one or the other.

When Pluto touches a sensitive point there (a cusp or a planet) it might speak of you being challenged through sickness or a stressful situation with the ultimate goal to review how you handle your day to day life, how you react to stress. It might push you to counter the difficulties with better self-care, to establish supportive routines.

For you, Virgos, being of service to others is often a priority – you might need to work on the balance between service and well-being. Remember mental and physical health issues often serve us as warning signs that show us our limits and on occasion also that we are pushing in the wrong direction. Review the areas that cause stress and look for medical advice on time if you need it.

The 6th can also indicate work that we do to survive and perhaps this isn’t aligned with your changing perspectives on life and will need to be reassessed as to whether some job is still relevant to continue doing.

If you have placements in Leo, Pluto will oppose them in your 12th house.

It could bring themes of isolation and retreat from the world, resulting from stress or health issues –  whether that is self-imposed or otherwise. The 12th house is associated with hospitals and monasteries, anything that removes us from normal daily life.

We all have to experience these difficult themes of loss, isolation and hidden enemies at a point in our lives and most of the time we are not ready for them. However it is important that we learn to accept them as a part of life, that makes us grow and become stronger. Often they trigger processes of dealing with and releasing trauma and bring us closer to a connection to the divine.

Sometimes they can be overwhelming, so if this happens to you – seek support, a professional who can help you through the process.  It is a house of sacrifice and you might be confronted with having to let go of things and behaviours that are contrary to your overall well-being.

If Pluto squares a Scorpio placement, it will impact your 3rd house.  Due to the experience of stress and difficulties you might decide to make changes in your environment. You might become more or less engaged in your neighbourhood. It might change the way you communicate or  could stimulate the desire to write and learn – journaling, or even starting a novel are quite possible. Or you can simply decide to switch your commute.

Changes can also affect siblings along with other relatives. The friends you call brothers or sisters can also be going through significant changes when the aspect perfects.

If Pluto aspects something in Taurus, it is your 9th house. Stressful or difficult experiences might cause you to reevaluate your spiritual or religious views. You might decide to follow a certain spiritual path and look for a connection with higher realms. You might decide to use astrology or other similar paths to reevaluate your view on life. Alternatively you might decide to travel and explore the wide world around you. Travel is a great way to acquire a new perspective on the personal stressors. Another possibility is that as a result of stress you decide to study or further your education so you can get on a new path in life.

Libra Ascendant: Create!

Libras you have Pluto moving into your 5th WS house.  For you it  might bring the topic of children to the fore. If you have your own, you could be dealing with processes that bring significant changes to them. Your children, toddlers or adults, might be the triggers for changes you have to or decide to make in your life. Or if you don’t it may be a time where they do come into your life.

The 5th is also a house of pleasure and romance, so it could mean that these kinds of relationships become an arena where we confront the deeper-seated issues coming to light at the time when an aspect to a natal placement forms.  You might find new ways to express unconditional love and how you give and receive love might be completely reformed.

You might find new creative outlets that allow you to express your feelings and your essence better. Depending on your natal placements painting or music might offer a much needed release for the experiences you need to go through.

There could be new hobbies or discovery of activities that bring changes to your life – whether rock climbing allows you to discover the beauty of nature or spinning becomes a new passion – tons of possibilities.

Take care with financial speculation and gambling at this time as Pluto’s tendency toward obsession could be problematic, it could also indicate big losses here, or big gains. It is advisable to not make any risky moves though.

If Pluto opposes planets in Leo, your 11th WS house this could affect your friendships. It could just mean certain relationships here leave your life while other new ones begin. Alternatively it might show that the changes around your 5th house we talked about provoke new wishes, new dreams for what you want out of your life.

As it is a financial house it relates to income whether from a job or the state. It might also mean that your creative pursuits affect your income positively or less so. We all know how children can affect the income of a parent.

And talking about that – If Pluto squares placements in Scorpio, your 2nd WS house- it further shows potentials of changes in financial circumstances. This could be significant losses or gains or just changing how you relate to your finances. It may also show a time where you have to confront issues related to your self worth. A deeper understanding of how it might play out is achievable in a natal reading.

A square to a planet in Taurus, your  8th WS speaks again about financial issues – it might bring up inheritances and potential topics of taxes, debts and shared resources. At the same time it might wake up old fears related to financial problems, remember to review them calmly and look at them differently. Your worth is not dependent on what you possess.

Scorpio Ascendant: Focus on Roots

Scorpios you have Pluto moving into your 4th WS house. This could bring issues of family and home into focus. Whether moving, acquiring a new home, downsizing, family additions come towards you – that will depend on your natal placements and where you are currently in life.

However the 4th house is related to our roots in a deep spiritual sense as well – so you might have to confront your shadow sides, review your relations to your family of origin. Have a look at how your experiences as a child formed your view on home and family life and the responsibility towards those – is it still accurate? Do you need to find a better balance between your home life and your own needs? Healthy roots are important sometimes when our family couldn’t offer them, it is important to steady ourselves with the help of self-reflection, forgiveness, spiritual practices and when necessary, therapy.

If Pluto is in opposition to placements in Leo, your 10th WS house – your work-home life balance may be brought to attention as well, asking you to understand the deeper drives and processes that could be creating an imbalance here. You might decide to make important changes in your professional life, or your status in society. Changes provoked by a new understanding of stability and belonging might be prevalent. Alternatively your issues with home and family might affect or be connected to your mother.

When Pluto goes on to square your ASC (time depending on its degrees) or  a planet in your 1st house it is likely going to be felt strongly. This could give rise to significant changes in your appearance, the way you carry yourself, how you present yourself to the world. The family/home related issues, the work on your roots we talked about might provoke changes in your  personality, they could change the way you understand yourself, your primary motivation in life and your skills and talents.. Some of you might even go for a name change, especially those making the step towards marriage.

Why are we suddenly talking about marriage?  Well when Pluto squares your ASC, it inevitably aspects your descendant (for you in Taurus) and aspects the 7th could bring marriages or divorces. However at the core is a review of the power dynamics between you and others, a good chance to review these and consider what needs to end, what new can begin here or how you can rebuild existing relationships in a healthier way.

Sagittarius Ascendant: Get out there!

Sagittarius you have Pluto moving into your 3rd WS house. The way you relate to your local environment and neighbourhood might go through significant changes. For some of you this might mean that you engage more in voluntary work, and find new appreciation of your community. Others might encounter some difficulties in the world around them. For some of you the environment or how you move through it, your commute can change.

This transit  could also impact siblings and extended family in some way or just your relationships to them. If any emotional tension comes up, handle it calmly – it gives you the chance to achieve a more loving and supportive relationship with the people you have one of the longest relationships in your life with. Alternatively the possibility is to let go of toxic relationships that have served their purpose.

Pluto transit in the 3rd house also deals with writing, learning and communication – a writing project long conceived might find its way into existence, you can decide to learn something that you have wanted for a while.  Alternatively earth-based spirituality and rituals could become prominent. This could involve working with plants or connecting to indigenous wisdom in a new way.

As Pluto might oppose placements in Leo, your 9th house – the changes in your environment or with your siblings might push you towards a decision to  follow a certain spiritual path and look for a connection with higher realms. You might decide to use astrology or other similar paths to reevaluate your view on life. Alternatively you might decide to travel and explore the wide world around you and so acquire a new perspective on your environment.

If you have planets in Taurus, your 6th, Pluto squaring them might mean that you experience some stresses caused by your environment or your close relatives. For some of you they might also trigger illness. Generally though it could just mean  that due to changes in your environment significant changes in your routine result.

If you have planets in Scorpio, your 12th house, Pluto squaring them might mean that changes in your environment or for some of you your relatives are a source of difficulties and stress. It could bring themes of isolation and retreat from the world, whether that is self-imposed or otherwise. Or such connected to loss.

It is a house of sacrifice and you might be confronted with having to let go of people around you, parts of your environment and behaviours that are contrary to your overall well-being.

Capricorn Ascendant: Values and Worth

Capricorn you have Pluto moving into your 2nd WS house. This brings issues with finances, possessions, values and self-worth. This could be expressed as significant losses or gains or just as changing how you relate to your finances. Your core values, what you consider important, might be in for a revision and could change significantly – some of you might decide to save towards something that is important to them, others might decide to spend a bit more and enjoy life to a greater extent. Going minimalist, developing a less materialistic life view are also an option.

Pluto may also be confronting you with issues related to your self worth, it is a good time to find ways to get to know yourself better, confront mean or harsh thoughts about yourself,  take it as a challenge to find out what you like and love about yourself, to look at your good sides and appreciate yourself. A  deeper understanding of how it might play out is possible in a personalised reading.

If you have planets in Leo, 8th WS house, Pluto’s opposition to them might bring the topic of inheritances or taxes, debts and shared resources. Issues of balance between yours and partners resources might be a theme. Be smart when taking on debts in that period. Questions of power balance between you and others might come up.

If Pluto squares certain placements in Taurus it might bring the topic of children to the fore. How you think about children might change depending on changes in your values or self-worth. If you have your own, you could be dealing with processes that bring changes to the relationship. Or if you don’t it may be a time where they do come into your life.

Alternatively a new developed self worth might change your perception of pleasure and romance. There could be new hobbies or discovery of activities coming into your life.

If it aspects 11th house there it could be again about balancing what you make with what you spend. As another financial house it relates to income whether from a job or the state. But it could also be about the new values changing the way you view certain friendships. It could just mean certain relationships here leave your life while other new ones begin.

The 11th house also relates to communities and organisations, which may become more prominent in your life. Finally, it is about hopes and dreams for the future. You could see a new vision for your future forming as you go through the experiences which Pluto brings you.

Aquarius Ascendant: All About You

Pluto moves into your 1st house which relates to your physical body, your image, health, vitality and also skills and talents. The most significant moments  related to this aspect will be when Pluto transits your Ascendant degree or any other planets you have in Aquarius. That is the time of the highest impact of the transit.

Overall, the shift of energy to this house could well bring significant changes in your appearance – it could be a time to lose weight or generally transform your image. A time of complete make over. Less likely, but even something such as a name change could be on the cards.

You could see themes of power come up and could stimulate your drive towards tapping into your own – it could bring forth certain skills or talents that up until now have been latent or dormant.

Alternatively you might find the strength to make difficult decisions long due, regarding different areas of your life. But especially regarding partnerships, family and career as Pluto on the ASC is in opposition to your Leo DSC – 7th house) and it squares your 10th (Scorpio) and 4th (Taurus) WS Houses. The personal changes you are going through will likely also change the way these central areas of life manifest around you, with the various people in these areas having to adapt and change to the ‘new you’.

You can decide to leave a difficult relationship. Or maybe find the courage to enter a new one after a long time of solitude. As Pluto represents power, this could indicate power struggles coming up with bosses, partners or family but could also indicate meeting powerful people in these areas. But you might also make changes regarding your family life. Deciding to move or getting a new job are also possible.

Alternatively the people signified by these houses may go through powerful personal transformations themselves.

This could be a long process so bear in mind it might be subtle and gradual but self discovery, plumbing the depths of who you are, are excellent ways to make use of these decades coming.

Pisces Ascendant: Renunciation

Pluto will enter into your 12th house Pisces. This is an area of life related to isolation, renunciation, spirituality removed from religion, hidden enemies, sorrows and losses. Coming to terms with how you connect to spirit, the primordial essence of existence might develop over the decades.

This could unlock certain sensitivities such as psychic phenomena, any manner of unusual non-physical experiences. If you do have these it is a good idea to seek support, a professional who can guide you through it.

There might be events or a general process of coming to surrender your sense of control and accept the greater forces and circumstances that direct you. It is a time where going deep into the subconscious can be of great benefit, through therapy or other healing modalities.

Alternatively, Pluto could be asking that you come to find peace with yourself by learning how to be alone without being lonely, so developing a meditation practice or anything that helps you to manifest this consciously will be of great benefit.

You may have some issues arising during this time with people working against you or your aims – this might not be intentional, just recognising that sometimes two people are at cross-purposes. If Pluto touches sensitive natal placements you might experience loss.

Pluto might affect your 6th house if you have important placements in Leo. It is good to take care of your health, do your routine check ups, follow medical advice. If Pluto triggers that house for you it is to point you in the direction of better routines.

Generally it could just mean significant changes in your routine, to give you more alone time or to accommodate situations out of your control. You may want to be of service to others but be careful to balance this with sufficient self-care. Taking good care of yourself will enable you to be helpful – as in the airplane – put your oxigene mask first.

Pluto also squares your 9th (Scorpio) and 3rd (Taurus) WS houses. This will be much more noticeable if you have planets there. Pluto aspecting the 9th asks us to reassess the meaning of life, our purpose and the social and religious structures that support this. Processes of fighting your inner demons, coming to terms with loss or even health issues might push you towards a new form of religion/spirituality or extensive travel. For some of you it might bring you to decide to study a completely new subject.

Finally, aspecting the 3rd suggests your local environment and neighbourhood might go through significant changes. This could also impact siblings and extended family in some way or just your relationships to them. It also deals with writing, learning and communication so you could see this being emphasised when Pluto aspects a planet here. Alternatively  earth-based spirituality and rituals could become prominent.
