Neptune enters Aries 2025-2026 All Rising Signs

How can we make the best of Neptune entering Aries? What does Neptune in Aries have in store for all of us and for your rising sign in particular?

Neptune is known as a foggy planet, associated with the topics of slowly dissolving, eroding, with fog and confusion. A master of illusion and delusion. It is an expert in slowly sneaking behind your back and spinning a web around you until you have lost your footing. It does bring disappointment and it can magically make things disappear from your life. Its shadow play can be quite difficult to process but it also  offers the opportunity for spiritual growth, spiritual development and getting immersed in the arts.

Generally Neptune in Pisces has been about getting lost in an odd and somewhat surreal reality. Losing our spiritual footing and not knowing what to look up to for help with the mess we have found ourselves in. We are slowly realising that we are living in a world that cannot sustain our lifestyle for a prolonged period of time. We have convinced ourselves that we can have it all, but is that really so? This has been a steady process but very emphasised in the last 15 years. The image of the white picket fence seems like a mirage for the younger generations.

Neptune in Pisces had its magical  moments with the royal weddings, vanishing aeroplanes (2014), the first YouTube Video with billion views. (Gangnam Style 2012) And the first photo of a black hole. But all that Piscean fairy tail magic is slowly disappearing and leaving us in a difficult place – with wars brewing, economic crisis. So Neptune in Aries is going to be about having lost the direction to follow. We are going to have to go through more melting of things around us and keep asking ourselves – where to? Of course this also grants the opportunity to find a more spiritual path, or create art – but at what cost?

Neptune is astrologically connected to toxic/contaminating  substances. Aries archetypally is related to confrontation, dealing with things head on. But also with sudden big bursts of force. There is a high probability that issues and problems appear that forcefully make us confront the “unclean” energy we are using. We might be forced to shift to cleaner energy sources.  Neptune is often connected to poisons and gases, including oil.

The last time we saw Neptune in Aries was 1861-1875 we saw the beginning of the refinement of oil, substituting the whale oil used until then; now a cycle later we are confronted with the environmental consequences of oil extraction and refinement: the damages on local community and biodiversity. It is a period where we are likely to have to deal with taking steps to resolve this.

We will also have to deal with other consequences of the rapid growth of the second industrial revolution (1870). Especially those in the environment. In a more sinister world with Aries representing rapid growth and Neptune pollution – we might be confronted with further rapid growth of pollution and the consequences of it.

We spoke about Neptune being related to all problems conceited to poisonous matters and as it is entering Aries, the sign of warriors and wars, it might be suggested that poisonous materials will be used in warfare. There is also a potential for the development of new explosives, not only for wars but for all applications – looking back dynamite was invented in 1867  when Alfred Nobel found that when nitroglycerin is combined with an absorbent substance (Neptune) it becomes safer and more convenient to manipulate.

But Neptune entering Aries can have a more positive vibe as Neptune is also connected to idealism and spirituality and a part of the Aries archetype is protecting the weaker ones, especially those who can’t protect themselves. So we can expect to see more “fights” about ideals – it could be about dealing with the consequences of mass production of items, be it initiatives about the health of workers around the world, more fights for human rights.

We might see different social or political ideologies developing. We have a historical example of that: the last time Neptune was in Aries there were investigations of occupational diseases (of mirror makers, who lost their teeth due to mercury poisoning and also the working conditions of children). In Britain – air pollution from the chemical industry is controlled by creating the Alkali act.

We expect to see the rise of humanitarian efforts (also because Pluto just entered Aquarius) and the fight for better rights for all. We know that in big parts of the world there is still child labour, extremely low wages and working conditions similar to slavery.

In the previous cycle Les Misérables is published – asking for humanitarianism from the ruling classes and freedom and justice for all. Also in that period slavery ended in Dutch ruled Indonesia. And we had the civil war in the USA breaking out the year Neptune entered Aries – a war brought about because of the compassionate desire to end slavery, it finally being abolished with the victory of the union. The very same year serfdom was abolished in the Russian empire.

However, slavery had already begun its course towards abolition by the British, from the late 1700s, finally imposed to all of their empire by 1833. However we can note the numerous big steps and changes which occurred related to emancipation.

Neptune is the master of false hopes, and we are quite inclined to believe that our problems will automatically magically suddenly disappear (spoiler – they will not) The active distribution of false hopes to the general population might be a theme in parts of the world. A great example of false hopes of intervention of the Gods: Hong Xiauchuan proclaims that God will defend a city in a revolution and when the government forces arrive he takes poison and dies. You can imagine that the government quickly re-establishes control.

A lot of conflicts might come from a place of self-righteousness and proclamations of infallibility. This is notable given some of the kinds of characters which are in the political sphere at the moment. Hubris is risky business and often accompanies the illusion of infallibility. With Neptune in Aries there might be a general sense of those that move forward somewhat blindly, with either of the extremes of too much or not enough clarity or confidence in pursuing one’s aims.

With Neptune a master of illusions in the full of optimism and self-conviction Aries  – there is also the danger of convincing ourselves that we can win this (be it a war or some other crazy enterprise) even if objectively this is highly unlikely. Historically we have a sad example of this from 1212 when thousands of children with a few adults and clerics, fired up by preaching against heretics, start for Jerusalem to rescue the Holy Land from Muslims. They are deficient in money and organisation but believe that as children they are favoured by God and could work miracles that adults cannot. Before the year is over it ends in disaster. Many children die or are sold into slavery.

Let’s get on to what it means for your rising sign!

Important notice:

Remember it is not going to be continuous 15 years of something happening. You are going to be affected when there is a natal placement touched. (entering sign, touching cusp, planets) If you feel like a potential area of life is triggered over a longer period of time – there might be a lot of other things happening in your chart.

The people with Neptune in Capricorn, those born between 1984-1998 are reaching middle age and will have their Neptune square Neptune (probably around age 41-42) So for you the placement of your natal Neptune is particularly important, as it is going to get activated when transiting Neptune squares it (1° orb) and it will be connected to confusion and disillusionment connected to the house placement of the natal Neptune. So you might want to listen to that house as well.

Aries/1st

Neptune is entering your 1st house so pay attention to any planets you have in the first house along with any planets in Cancer, Libra or Capricorn. Once Neptune aspects these planets you will likely see the significations becoming more acutely present and manifesting events. Regardless as this is your Ascendant it will be prominent for you Aries. Neptune’s influence might bring questions about your own identity bringing some confusion to you and the people around you. As it is an angular house it impacts a wider area of life, potentially impacting professions, relationships and family life. So be prepared for the process unfolding, particularly when Neptune becomes conjunct with your Ascendant degree or squares your MC.

This may be a time which brings illusions or disillusionment about who you are in the world, your purpose and direction. The fog that Neptune brings can leave us feeling like we are stumbling about aimlessly. There is another risk that this lack of clarity gives us an unfounded self-assuredness that can leave us feeling like everything is perfect, when in fact there is much that needs our attention. Either way, be aware that you might not be seeing yourself clearly during this time. Be aware that the transit to the Ascendant can bring fatigue due to a dispersal of our energy and it is good to stay proactive in maintaining good health and vigour.

Fortunately, there are some positive sides to this transit and this relates to Neptune’s capacity to dissolve structures which do not resonate with the ideal. This is an opportunity to really let go of certain ideas about yourself that you may have been harbouring. Though recognise this could be brought about by experiences of loss, deceit or distorted perceptions. It is a time to avoid taking things for granted as much can shift and change during this time.

It could bring forth a deepening interest in spirituality which can dissolve the ‘old’ you, or even letting go of an old name or habit which you identified yourself with. This includes experiences which could be described as ‘extra-ordinary’. It would also be a good opportunity to get into any other Neptunian pastime such as music or art as you may be especially inspired when it aspects certain planets.

If it aspects planets in Capricorn, these changes in you and the lack of clarity about yourself, or any other processes unfolding for you, are also going to have an impact on your career. You might lose a job, change career or feel like the meaning it once had for you is waning. Motivation can be difficult at this time but you can rest assured that if you go with the flow, tap into intuition, by the end you will be left with what is truly important to you.

If it aspects planets in Libra, these changes are going to impact partnerships. It could mean the ending or beginning of a relationship. Be advised, if you begin a relationship when Neptune is within an aspect of a few degrees with a planet or an angle there is likely a whole lot about that relationship you are not seeing clearly. Neptune is amazing at making the least suitable people seem like the ideal!

During these key periods it may be worth taking your time with things and not making any serious commitment steps before that particular transit is over. Also asking for advice from close friends and family can help give some perspective on whether this new person really is as good a match as you think they are. In general any aspect here will bring a bit of confusion about how to relate with others in the most appropriate way.

If it aspects planets in Cancer, these changes impact the family and home life. This could mean that things with your home undergo changes – a relocation or finding some issues with the home you live in that need to be resolved for your well-being. This could also impact the parents especially if there is a square to the IC/MC axis. They may go through experiences that are similar to what we have described for a Neptune transit.

Taurus/12th

For you Taurus, Neptune will be transiting your 12th house, pay attention to any planets you have there along with any planets in Cancer, Libra or Capricorn. The 12th is not an easy house generally, but it is a place where Neptune seems to feel at home. Here we see the topics of isolation, withdrawal, losses, suffering and spirituality being influenced by the planet. As it is cadent, the effects are less likely to be strongly felt unless you have planets in Aries that Neptune will conjunct. If so, if you can see what that planet represents in your chart it will give you good indications on how you can redefine how you engage with that person or area of your life.  There might be disillusionment in that area.

This could indicate losses of things or people but if that is the case, it would most likely be a gradual process of distancing, or letting go over what that planet signifies. The 12th house is often about things difficult to grasp, and Neptune a foggy planet – you can expect feelings of isolation and discomfort without being quite able to put your finger on where they come from. Only time and self-reflection can help.

It is also about things we can’t control, so we need to learn to let go. It could be helpful to coordinate the timing of any transit with some retreat, or spiritual practice as Neptune can sensitise us to unfolding spiritual processes. Spiritual involvement is also important to combat eventual low moods and gloominess that can be a part of the transit for some of you as well.

If it aspects planets in Libra, there might be some distress and general health emphasis. As well as further emphasis on melancholic moods and experiences of being unappreciated. It is also the house of employees and pets if you have them, so potentially it might denote problems with one of those areas if it touches a planet in that house. It is also the house of our appliances (they serve us in our daily life) so a very mundane expression could be your washing machine breaking or leaking for example.

If you have planets in Capricorn, when Neptune aspects them it will bring about a lack of clarity in your direction of studies, travels or the general deeper meaning that life holds for you. You might decide to change the direction of your studies, as they could have brought you unhappiness or disappointment. It might be that the heavyheartedness we talked about pushes you to reach out to foreign cultures or so far unexplored belief systems in search of advice and understanding. Your dreams in that period might be a source of insight.

If it aspects planets in Cancer, these changes impact your immediate environment, communications, the possibilities you have to express yourself. We talk about feelings of isolation that might come up – this might strongly influence how much you communicate with people around you. You might need a change in scenery. It can also impact your siblings, if you  have any bringing them instability and difficulties, probably in their work life.

Gemini/11th

Geminis you have Neptune going into your 11th house of friends, and dreams for the future. This could bring a sense of disillusionment with some friendships and could indicate that some of the connections do dissolve but it presents the opportunity to let go of unsupportive dynamics. It can also indicate that new friends may enter your life who embody some ideals you aspire towards or are very spiritual in nature. Alternatively some of your new or current friends might become unreliable or themselves have difficulties in life. Boundaries may be a theme in friendships that require a bit more attention as these may become tested.

When Neptune conjuncts with a planet you have in Aries, you could see the topics that planet represents undergoing a period of uncertainty, confusion or lack of clarity. It can bring some losses but also present an opportunity to redefine relationships by the time it has passed. Your hopes and dreams in life will likely go through periods of doubt and uncertainty – these could be old aspirations that no longer reflect who you really are and these years would be an opportunity to let go of all that isn’t really what you want to be manifesting in your life.  You could also have income from a job or the state be reduced or disappear. Don’t worry this could just mean a change in job, or the source of your income changing – nevertheless it is a good idea to have some savings available if possible for any unforeseen financial situation that might arise. There could also be new aspirations that aim towards spiritual development or creative pursuits such as art and music.

If it aspects planets in Capricorn you are going to face the need to dissolve fears that you may have in order for a new vision for the future to manifest. Events such as inheritances or a loss of shared resources and other financial matters such as debts may also factor into how your interactions with friends or your vision for the future may change. It could indicate some experience of loss that impacts your approach to life.

If it aspects planets in Libra then topics around children may also be affected. This could bring up questions on whether to have them or not, difficulties in having a child during that period or your children undergo periods of confusion or uncertainty in their life. It can also relate to hobbies and pleasurable activities so Neptune could bring you to let go of some of those that you perhaps are reaching the phase to finish with.

Be careful with romances during this time as Neptune can make things appear not as they truly are. It can be a magical experience but it is advisable not to rush any big steps in commitment until the transit to the 5th house planet is over.

If it aspects planets in Cancer then it will impact your 2nd house of finances and possessions. This could bring uncertainties around your financial situation which we touched upon with planets in Aries. It’s good to stay on top of your accounts to make sure money isn’t just disappearing, being wasted on unnecessary things. It could be a period where you are forced to sell or get rid of things, hopefully those that you let go of willingly to make space for new dimensions to your life. On a more psychological level you could have to pass through periods of low self-esteem, likely around the topics of the houses that the planet in your 2nd is ruling.

Cancer/10th

Neptune is entering your 10th house of career, advancement in the world. It is important to note that if your Midheaven is not in Cancer the effects might be less pronounced. When Neptune aspects your MC or planets in the 10th house the effects we are talking about will be strongest. So what are those? You might be confused about the general direction of your career life – there might be deception and some hidden happenings at your workplace. Generally uncertainty around your job is probably one of the most common expressions. You might lose a job, change career or feel like the meaning it once had for you is waning. You might be prompted to let go of hopes about for example moving up in your career.  There might be situations where you are losing the ‘it’ you have been pushing towards. General feeling of drifting might be present as well. Self- Motivation can be difficult at this time but you can rest assured that if you go with the flow, tap into intuition, by the end you will be left with what is truly important to you.

These happenings impact the family and home life (more so if your IC is in Libra or you at least have planets there). This could mean that things with your home undergo changes; you could be relocating. Or there might be difficulties in the home life due to career problems – you might receive less support than expected, you might feel disillusioned with your family. This could also impact the parents for some of you. They may go through experiences that are similar to what we have described for a Neptune transit. Some of you might try to escape from the outside reality in their homes.

Cancer, Neptune in Aries will square your ASC at a point in the next 15 years, this is probably the most powerful moment of impact for you when it comes.  Neptune’s influence might bring questions about your own identity. Who am I without my job? Or who am I outside my work life?  – those questions will come up for many of you. When Neptune squares your ASC it brings illusions or disillusionment about who you are in the world, your purpose and direction.

When Neptune squares your ASC it also by default squares your DSC as well – this often coincides with processes undermining your relationship. The cracks in the relationship remain often invisible for a long time. For some of you this might lead to disillusionment in the relationship and being deceived by the relationship. Ultimately it brings the possibility of the relationship ending. If you are single the stresses in your work life might impede you from having a relationship.

If you meet someone, in a romantic or work contest – Neptune is a planet of illusion, so you might not be seeing the person for what he/she is – Neptune is amazing at making the least suitable people seem perfect! Wait with important decisions and commitments until your transit is over. As always when a planet squares our ASC/DSC axis questions of balance between self and others might come up – with Neptune often the question is am I sacrificing too much for the other person? What am I not seeing clearly?

Leo/9th

Neptune entering the ninth house will bring about a lack of clarity in the general deeper meaning that life holds for you. (if it touches a planet – it will also influence the areas ruled by that planet) You might go through a confusion related to your beliefs and the big unknown. You might decide to reach out to foreign cultures or so far unexplored belief systems in search of advice and understanding. Your dreams in that period might be a source of insight. Neptune is a planet of devotion but be careful who you choose as your spiritual leader as Neptune is a deceptive planet and not every guide is going to have your best interest at heart.

If you are studying, Neptune in the 9th house might bring confusion about your studies. A decision to change the direction of your studies, as they could have brought you unhappiness or disappointment is possible. Or might have turned out to be quite different to your initial expectations.

Travel might not quite turn out the way you expect it (in the year when Neptune actually touches a planet or cusp) There is a risk of confusion, getting lost or just disappointment. This might be a good time for a pilgrimage or other kinds of spiritual travels and retreats, as Neptune is a planet of intuition and yearning, so connecting with something bigger than oneself is one of the limited positive expressions.

If it concerns planets in Libra, your 3rd house, the topics we talked about so far might impact your immediate environment, communications, and the possibilities you have to express yourself.  How you perceive your immediate environment might change because of studies or travel, or for some of you because a new foreign person entered it. New acquired beliefs and understanding of the world might strongly influence how you communicate with people around you. It can also impact your siblings, bringing them instability and difficulties, potentially in their relationships.

If it squares planets in Capricorn, there might be some distress and general health emphasis, because of potential issues with travelling, studies  or divinatory work (in the year when Neptune touches a planet in your 6th). There might be a lack of understanding and appreciation towards you.

It is also the house of employees and pets if you have them, so potentially it might denote problems with one of those areas. It is also the house of our appliances (they serve us in our daily life) so a very mundane expression could be your washing machine breaking or leaking for example.

And if it squares a planet in Cancer the topics of isolation, withdrawal, losses, suffering and spirituality might come up. The influence of different spiritual/philosophical or religious currents on you might change some of your deeper ingrained personal beliefs about self and the world. Spiritual involvement is also important to combat eventual low moods and gloominess that can be a part of the transit for some of you as well. Neptune a foggy planet – you can expect feelings of isolation and discomfort without being quite able to put your finger on where they come from. But the Planet being squared will represent  the area of life which Neptune affects most.  There might be disillusionment in that area. This could indicate losses of things or people but if that is the case, it would most likely be a gradual process of distancing, or letting go over what that planet signifies.

Virgo/8th

Virgos Neptune will be travelling through your 8th house. This is a house that deals with grief, sorrows, inheritance, shared resources. If you have planets in Aries, you could face having to accept losses here. This could bring lack of clarity with shared resources so it’s good to keep on top of what you owe. When Neptune conjuncts a planet there it is not a good time to be making debts.

If you have a partner it could be about them having a difficult time financially. As the 8th house can also be associated with the occult and mysterious forces some of you might develop interests in the occult, especially mysticism, visionary experiences and states of trance and aim for acquiring knowledge of the paranormal.

If Neptune opposes natal planets in libra then it will impact your 2nd house of finances and possessions. This could bring uncertainties around your financial situation connected to the issues with your partner’s finances or shared resources we just discussed. It’s good to stay on top of your accounts to make sure money isn’t just disappearing, being wasted on unnecessary things.

If you need to sacrifice your possessions or sell them, let go of them willingly to make space for new dimensions to your life. On a more psychological level you could have to pass through periods of low self-esteem, likely around the topics of the houses that the planet in your 2nd is ruling. As Neptune is in your 8th house, remember to not make your self-esteem dependent on the opinions of others.

If Neptune squares natal planets in cancer the financial issues just discussed may impede your wishes in that period, making it quite difficult to achieve them.  It could also affect your friendship, you may experience lack of support or understanding and  there might be a sense of disillusionment with certain friends and could indicate that some of the connections do dissolve. Be careful when you make debts with your friends, as this might prove particularly problematic.

If Neptune squares natal planets in Capricorn it can affect your 5th house  – financial issues but also fears can negatively influence your capacity to create. There might be questions on whether  you want to have children or not, or difficulties in having a child during that period or your children undergo periods of confusion or uncertainty in their life. Your romantic life might also be negatively influenced by issues of worth, power struggles and lack of capability to set boundaries.

Libra/7th

Neptune will be travelling through your 7th house, its effects will be more pronounced when it touches your DSC or planets in the 7th house.  It is a transit where relationships often end or begin. If a relationship ends  – it is not going to be a sudden ending but a slow process of dissolution related to disillusionment with the relationship, seeing a superficial perfection disappear leaving all the little cracks below visible. It  is possible that there is a lot of doubt and confusion in the process.  Alternatively it might be that your partner is not feeling at their best and you need to bring important sacrifices for the relationship.

Also take care as Neptune is known for its deceptive qualities! So there is a risk of encounters with those that are in some way not being direct or honest. If your intuition tells you something isn’t quite right with a person then heed that message, observe the dynamics and don’t put yourself into any overly compromising situations with others. This also applies to potential relationships, so if you are single and falling in love remember Neptune may make a less than suitable partner seem perfect.

When Neptune conjuncts your DSC it at the same time opposes your ASC (Libra) – which means the issues in your relationship might make you lose your footing, you might lose yourself and have doubts about your identity. This is an opportunity to really let go of certain ideas about yourself and your relationships that you may have been harbouring. You might go through the world in haze, or in a state of dull pain. If this happens, turn to more positive coping methods like spirituality, music, arts, it is good to stay proactive in maintaining good health and vigour.

If it aspects planets in Cancer, relationship issues or illusions about a partner (might also be a work partner, not necessarily romantic), are also going to have an impact on your career. You might lose a job, change career or feel like the meaning it once had for you is not there anymore. It might be difficult at this time to function at your best, but if you go with the flow, tap into intuition, by the end you will be left with what is truly important to you.

If it aspects planets in cancer (4th) the relationship issues we talked about might have an impact on your home life – a move is possible, often accompanied by experience of loss of the home. Instability or dissolution of the home is a possibility.  You might lose the security you carefully constructed over years and the world around you might seem to be dissolving.

Scorpio/6th

Neptune touching a planet in your 6th house will probably signify elevated worries around the theme that that planet represents in your chart. You might have to deal with elevated stress levels coming from your work if the planet is the ruler of the 10th house for example. In general there might be some anxiety and general health emphasis. Neptune is a murky planet so it might be difficult to find out what exactly is wrong.

You might have to deal with a lack of understanding and appreciation towards you. It is also the house of employees and pets if you have them, so potentially it might denote problems with one of those areas. Employees might decide to terminate their work or  there is a potential of untrustworthiness. Not a great time to be working with contractors, as they might promise more than they fulfil.  It is also the house of our appliances (they serve us in our daily life) so a very simple mundane expression could be an appliance breaking or leaking.

Neptune opposing a planet in your 12th house might point to you going through loss, withdrawal, isolation. The planet affected would give additional information to what exactly could be there.

This could indicate losses of things or people but if that is the case, it would most likely be a gradual process of letting go. The 12th house is often about things difficult to grasp, and Neptune a foggy planet – you can expect feelings of isolation and discomfort without being quite able to put your finger on where they come from. If you generally have to deal with chronic health issues, it is advisable to be on top of your routines and make sure you are taking care of your body at that time in particular.

If Neptune squares a natal planet in Capricorn some stressful situation might change the way you relate to your immediate environment. It might also have an effect on your communications, and the possibilities you have to express yourself. Consider creative writing or journaling during the period of the transit as it may help to clarify and gain perspective on the process.

If Neptune squares a natal planet in Cancer – stress, lack of appreciation or health issues might push you to travel, study a certain subject or decide to explore a spiritual/religious current. You might decide to reach out to foreign cultures or so far unexplored belief systems in search of advice and understanding of your problems. Of course it will affect the area represented by the natal planet in your chart as well.

Sagittarius/5th

Sagittarius Neptune entering Aries, your 5th house might bring confusion around the areas of children, creativity and romantic experiences. This could bring up insecurities connected to whether to have children or not, difficulties in having a child during that period or your children undergo periods of confusion or uncertainty in their life. It can also relate to hobbies and pleasurable activities so Neptune could bring you to let go of some of those. As it is a planet of imagination and illusion it could be a good time to work on art, film or music projects, however there is the danger of getting lost in your project and not feeling particularly productive and motivated to actually finish what you started.

Be careful with romances during this time as Neptune can make things appear not as they truly are. It is also a planet of yearning, so you would be easily influenced by a potential romantic partner. It can be a magical experience but it is advisable not to rush any big steps. Alternatively a romance can end.

If Neptune opposes a planet in your 11th house – your wishes and dreams regarding the area of life this planet represent might seem quite impossible potentially due to difficulties around children. Alternatively you might not be quite sure you are still desiring the same things as you did earlier. It is also possible that your friendships are affected and some friends seem to disappear from your life. If that is the case, liberate yourself from friendships that no longer serve their purpose. Your income might be unstable in that period, more so if it generally comes from a creative endeavour or work with children.

If Neptune squares a planet in Capricorn (affecting the area ruled by the planet as well) in your 2nd house – the insecurities around children and creativity are affecting your financial situation, you might have some financial difficulties or challenges. You might pass a period of low self-esteem, either related to your creative endeavours or to the area of life that the planet Neptune is squaring rules.

If Neptune squares a planet in Cancer (your 8th)  – the area of your shared resources might be affected, if you have a partner, their financial situation might be affected by issues around children. There might be issues around debts, when Neptune is involved it is generally not a good time to make new ones.  It might also bring some fears and anxiety around the topic that the natal planet rules for you in your natal chart.

Capricorn/4th

Neptune entering your 4th house or touching a planet in your 4th house can bring instability in your living situation. You might need to move, for some accompanied by experience of loss of the home. There might be issues with your home – particularly common are issues with water supply or mould, or more generally things that negatively influence your well-being.  Instability or dissolution of the home is a possibility.  For some of you this could also impact the parents especially if Neptune touches your MC/IC axis. They may go through experiences that are similar to what we have described for a Neptune transit. It is also possible that you have to make important sacrifices towards your family (current or of origin)

On a not so literal plane you can lose your footing and have deep doubts and feeling disoriented and adrift on a very deep level. For some of you, deep yearnings towards a “dream home” or “your real home” may emerge. Those often clash with your current reality and might lead to disillusionment with how things are.

If Neptune opposes  your MC (Libra) or a planet in your 10th house the instability in your home might disturb your career. You might lose a job, change career or feel like the meaning it once had for you is just gone. Staying motivated can be difficult at this time but you can rest assured that if you go with the flow, tap into intuition, by the end you will be left with what is truly important to you. The area affected will also strongly depend on the planet aspected.

Neptune is going to square your ASC in Capricorn and your DSC in Pisces at a point – you might lose yourself and have doubts about your identity. This is an opportunity to really let go of certain ideas about yourself and your relationships that you may have been harbouring. You might go through the world in haze, or in a state of dull pain, having somewhat lost your purpose and direction. The fog that Neptune brings can leave us feeling like we are stumbling about aimlessly. Transit to the Ascendant can bring fatigue due to a dispersal of our energy and it is good to stay proactive in maintaining good health and vigour.

Neptune is also squaring your DSC as well at the same time – this often coincides with processes undermining your relationship. Those might come through all of the 4th house issues we talked about. The small gaps in the relationship remain often invisible for a long time. For some of you this might lead to disillusionment in the relationship and being deceived by the relationship. Ultimately there is the potential that the relationship ends.

For the young ones amongst you, instability in your home might make a partnership particularly desirable, as a way of escape. However Neptune is a planet of illusion, so the relationship might not quite turn out to be what you expected. It is better not to make any big permanent commitments until the Neptune transit passes.

Aquarius/3rd

The 3rd house is a cadent house, so you will probably not feel it much, unless it touches natal planets in that house – in this case the transit will be more related to the areas ruled by those planets. Neptune in the 3rd might bring confusion coming from the immediate environment. There might be issues with communications – lost letters, disappointing messages, those arriving at the wrong place at the wrong time etc. There might be more misunderstandings than usual.  It can also impact your siblings, bringing them instability and difficulties.

If Neptune opposes planets in Libra your 9th house you might go through a disorientation related to your beliefs and the big unknown. You might decide to reach out to foreign cultures or so far unexplored belief systems in search of advice and understanding. Your dreams in that period might be a source of insight. When travelling there is the possibility of getting lost or having the reality not quite meeting your expectations.  This might be a good time for a pilgrimage or other kinds of spiritual travels and retreats, as Neptune is a planet of intuition and yearning, so connecting with something bigger than oneself is one of the limited positive expressions.

If Neptune squares planets in cancer (your 6th) the instability of your environment, the unreliability of things around you or deceptive letters and other communications (gotta think of those phone scams) can cause you quite a bit of stress and difficult experience. Alternatively unhealthy/ poisonous things in your environment might cause some health issues.

If Neptune squares a natal planet in Capricorn (your 12th) your immediate environment or your siblings might be a source of difficulties and grief. Depending on the rulership of the natal planet squared – there might be an experience  of loss, difficulty or potential something behind the scene undermining you in that area of your life.

Pisces/2nd

With Neptune entering your second house and potentially conjunct  planets there, your finances and possessions might be a source of preoccupation and difficulty. You might lose money, or they might seem to dissolve in thin air. There might be financial sacrifices you need to make at that time. It’s good to stay on top of your accounts to make sure money isn’t just disappearing, being wasted on unnecessary things.

Otherwise you will have to deal with periods of low self-esteem, likely around the topics of the houses that the planet in your 2nd is ruling. This might mean that you feel incapable or criticise yourself harshly or just be completely unconscious of what you actually have to offer.

If Neptune opposes a planet in Libra, which would be in your 8th house, there might be fears around money, shared resources, or your financial problems simply make it difficult for you to pay your debts, your mortgages. There could be some complications if an inheritance is due during that time, a lack of clarity making the process more complicated than hoped. Your partner may go through difficulties with their finances too but look at what the planet rules in your chart to get a better idea of what area of life will most likely be impacted.

The 8th house is associated with grief and sorrow but also has spiritual connotations which might be emphasised during the transit. The more occult paths are signified by the 8th but be careful here as Neptune can create illusions and it is possible to get quite lost with this influence.

If Neptune squares a planet in Capricorn that will be affecting your 11th house. This is a house dealing with income from jobs or other sources so Neptune here could create some losses or confusion around where to find a reliable source of money coming in. It rules friends and allies so you might have to deal with some processes of reassessing these relationships.

The potential for disillusionment and being hood-winked is there but most likely it will mean a gradual distancing from those that no longer support the path you want to be walking. Alternatively, it could be a new friend who embodies some spiritual ideals, or one that comes as a result of having redefined your self-esteem and values.

If Neptune squares planets in Cancer it will impact your 5th house. There could be questions around having children which generate some confusion and uncertainty. You could have difficulty having children at this particular time or the children you already have, undergo Neptunian processes which undermine their sense of stability and structure in life. As finances are likely affected by Neptune, these issues may be arising from this sense of not having a stable financial situation that you would ideally have to support the idea or reality of child-rearing.

It can affect hobbies and creative processes which might bring some confusion or lack of direction in these projects. Alternatively you could see romance being on the cards, but take care as Neptune is notorious for deception and you may not be seeing the other person clearly. Avoid any hasty moves towards commitment and consider getting opinions from your loved ones about how suitable the other person really seems to be from the outside. Once the transit passes (3-5 degrees later – such a huge orb?) those risks should subside.

We hope this has served as a guide for navigating the next phase of Neptune’s movement through the heavens, for you and the world. May we all stay grounded, clear and aligned with a good direction in life.
